The New Kingdom of Sierrastare

History

The history of Sierrastare is able to be traced back to 1200 BC, However European influence didn't take place until the 17th century. The French Arrived in 1621 to a very well developed native society which would later use their language. Landis was colonized by the British in 1732. By 1775 most people who were natives in Sierrastare were enslaved. The few that werent enslaved held high positions in power.

Sierrastare was formed in 1806 along with Landis forming as it's own country a day later.

By the early 1900's Sierrastare had become a place of growth , The economy was constantly moving in the country however trade with other countries was still very limited and stayed that way until the 1980's. As the rest of the world went through the Great Depression , Sierrastare continued to grow on a financial level until 1935 when a brief crash occured. After the brief crash Sierrastare's economy it continued to grow again until 1969.

In 1969 Naepolian Redstone overthrew his 69 year old mother . His mother would flee to Morroco , then to England in 1973. That same year Sierrastare became an Empire and the future King of Sierrastare, Toussaint Redstone is jailed. By 1978 sanctions from 11 nations were threatening to be imposed upon Sierrastare due to the mistreatment of citizens whose family were killed , starved , and exiled. Many people began to leave and the economy by then had reached stage 3 failure. The worst rating of failure in the Sierrastarin economy.

The Empire ended with the death of Naepolian on December 30th 1979 and Toussaint became the head of the country. By May 28th , on the 174th anniversary of the founding of Sierrastare, A republic was formed. The modern day senate with 30 senators and 300 sub-senators took office along with Toussaint as King even though his powers became vastly limited to what they would have been had a senate not been in place to impose checks and balances. Claudiya became queen after the death of Toussaint and Gracea ( The former Queen of Sierrastare)on May 28th 1994 . Her approval and accension to the throne occured June 9th of the same year. In 1995 the Republic of Sierrastare became the New Kingdom of Sierrastare. In the following years the country had began it's rise to where it is today. It's acceptance into the SCJU as a Ambassadoral nation was acknowledged fully March 1st and it's acceptance as a Full Member occured July 4th with acknowledgement the same day.

Currently the Queen of Sierrastare is Daiwone Redstone , as of December 4th , Claudiya Redstone has decided to revert throne due to the performance and increased work getting done since Daiowne has taken office. Since then Sierrastare is continuing to fuction in a manner that is emphasizing political and economic growth.

Royal Family

The Royal Family of Sierrastare is made up members of the House of Bourbon , The House of Savoy , and the House of Wettin. The Sierrastarin Branch however is known of the House de Afrieux for it's location in Africa and it having 3 members of which have Partial African heritage.

Also this list is in order of succession. As of December 2009 , the Isabella Branch is now included into the line of succession with the oldest 2 living members being last as Elders. With this system the Senate might have to elect the King or Queen of Sierrastare in the future if several have an interest in the seat.

Reasoning Behind Relations

Royal Cytheria - A sister nation which is considered the most laid back out of the bunch , this nation seems to be the mature nation that has been in contact with Sierrastare for a while. However , there are now concerns due to the PRA being passed. Royal Cytheria frowns upon prostitution in any form and as a result , NKS and KRC are succeeding to keep their current relations without a slight decrease due to capping.

New Burgundy - New Burgundy has been making an effort with Sierrastare until recently to rebuild relations. However the NB has announced that they will no longer try to mend relations. The NKS has responded stating only disappointment. Sierrastare and New Burgundy has decided to part ways for the time being to focus on their own respective developments. So far communication has drifted. In early December, a long dormant dispute over two disputed Atlantic islands once again became an issue with a reputed violation of the territory, administered by New Burgundy, by Sierrastare.

Casanares - This nation has continually been in touch with Sierrastare and is a sister nation through linked culture. They have also established the Las Naciones con Lingua de Español or LNLE.

Calderwood - Calderwood has always been lukewarm towards Sierrastare and is considered one of the more cooler headed nations towards it.

Cascadia - Cascadia has been connected with NKS since the departure of DCL from the union earlier in the year. This nation is a sister nation due to constantly working relations , However there have been a couple hiccups due to misunderstandings. There is talk of moving to an alliance , However there is a heavy concern that due to a lack of a strong military , an alliance won't be possible.

Viceroyalty of Dominea - Dominea's relations with Sierrastare was also effected by the bribery scandal in which the Queen launched numerous attacks directly at the media. Multilateral Sanctions and talks of individual sanctions also caused relations to strain. Until late December relations remained icy with Dominea, However upon the New Year, Sierrastare pardoned them and decided to begin talks.Presently things have been working out for the better.

Dominion Of Wales - At the beginning NKS supported DWS greatly , however due to dissagreements and rising notions about the NKS and it's leadership the DWS has become the only nation that Sierrastare has been having issues with for months. Relations began to faulter after an arguement due to results of a wide scale survey issued to all members of state. Since then relations have been in a tail spin and efforts to repair relations have ceased. This caused Sierrastare to briefly take a hands off approach. However after discussion and review of the situation the situation has improved vastly and communication has been restored.

Savoyard Confederation - Relations between the NKS and SAV have been breezy and cordial for the longest time. However the offer of national sisterhood was turned down due to social nature of Savoy and NKS being incompatible.

Populieus - Decrease in Relations due to differences in opinions and policies occured not too long after the last summit.

Grand Republic of Pheonoia - This Pacific Nation is the most recent recipient of Sister Nation status. So far they have been one members who are considered cool headed and due to being misunderstood in the past by the NKS , The two have grown to a better understanding and relations have improved somewhat.

Toright - Toright is one of the nations that Sierrastare likes due to it's manufacturing background. Toright is another nation that has remained steady in the diplomacy department even though it's stent as an ambassadorial member.

Vercelli - The NKS and VER have been friends for a while , more accurately since their acceptance as full members into the SCJU. The NKS is highly influenced by the highly fashionable Vercelli. Sierrastare is also one of the few nations that will help Vercelli in just about any manner possible in the event of emergency as displayed in the Prato Train Bombings of Early August 2009. With recent plans to participate in a multi-national fashion event , Sierrastare is expecting to become even closer and plan an actual alliance.

Buesti et Ravoi - Perhaps one of the more interesting Sister Nations , since the time between it's acceptance into the union as a full member and offer of national sisterhood was so short. Relations have remained good and so far , business deals towards Buesti et Ravoi are proving to be a venture which could benefit both nations. However recent instability and overthrow have given way to the Social Repubic of Buesti which is not a member of the SCJU. Sierrastare does not support the SRB's government as is considering declaring war against the anti-progressive regime.

Imperial Empire of Atlantis - Perhaps one of the more intimidating sister nations , but one of the ones that hasn't caused the NKS any issues and has remained constantly on the positive spectrum in terms of relations with Sierrastare. The NKS looks to IAE due it's extremely high quality of life. IAE has also funded and was cheifly in charge of High Speed One in Sierrastare.
