Background
Myon is located on the Planet Myon. The area of the country is relatively large, with approximately 431,760 square miles or 1,118,252 square km of land within its borders. The first inhabitants were the native zukes, who controlled the land until around 35BD, where they left the area to the west of the Tramyo Mountains due to alien activity. Exactly 39 years later, on 1AL, the planet was first landed on by a ship launched by the Terrans, a group of humans who were transported to the planet from earth around 5000BC by an unknown alien race. The Terrans themselves soon landed on the planet. In 3AL, Myon City had been officially founded and colonization had begun. Myon borders the Zuke Country to the south and east, Zcheilau and al'Shara' to the south, and the Empire of Granar to the north and west. Myon also shares a sea boundry with the Kingdom of Glump to the north and east.
Countryside
Much of the country is rural or uninhabited, and vast jungles and forests stretch over much of the land.
The Lowlands
The lowlands are a flat, fertile area making up most of the eastern side of the Republic of Myon, and they contain a rich variety of scenery. At the point where the Melime River empties into the Gulf of Granur is the Melime Swamp, a vast low lying area full of inlets, channels, and lakes and covered with soft, muddy ground that a surprising variety of trees grow in. The Tramyo Mountains mark the old dividing line between the "alien lands" and the zuke lands before the Terrans showed up. They are volcanic in origin, and are slowly growing to the south as a hot spot makes its way along the area. There is one active volcano in this mountain range: the Tramyo Volcano. Much of the land in the lowlands is less than 200 feet/61 meters above sea level, so flooding is sometimes a problem in this area, especially along the Myon River, the largest in the area. Much of the southwestern area is farmland, producing nearly 50% of the nation's non-imported food.
Central Desert
The central part of the country is occupied by the highland Amiton Desert, and it is the flattest area in the country, suitable for landing a plane in the open desert. The area around the man made Amiton Lake and near Myon City is another farming area, with water being brought in from Amiton Lake to irrigate the farms. Amiton Lake was formed by the construction of Myon Dam. While it has increased the moisture level in the central area of the desert, the area is still classified as an arid region.
Western Mountains
In the western part of the country are the Amiton Mountains which effectively cut the country into two parts: The flat eastern part and the mountainous western part. Several ski resorts operate in the Amiton Mountains near Amiton, but for the most part they are uninhabited. Farther to the west are the Yanar Mountains, a heavily forested region home to the deadly clubtail, a large predatory creature that attacks anything it wants to. This area is thought to be rich in metals, but due to the current remoteness, it has gone untested.
Urban Areas
The capital Myon City is the largest city in provincial Myon, and it is also the fastest growing with new buildings seeming to pop up every week. Other large cities include Amiton, located in the Amiton Desert near the Amiton Mountains, Yintar, located in the Yanar Mountains, Three Rivers City, located where the Myon River, Melime River, and the Wenten River meet, Sulnuka, located in the central area of the Thulan Territory, and Galaenther City, located on Galaenther Island.
Transportation
Road
The Republic of Myon contains several highway/motorway routes, called Myonways. These include:
- M1 - Loop between Amiton, Myon City, and Meruton
- M2 - Myon City to Obie, passes through the Zuke Country
- M3 - Yintar into Zuke Country through Halnuke
There is also the Halnuke-Calunuke Run which is a high speed highway from Halnuke to Calunuke, connecting the provinces of North and South Meluma.
The Myonways as well as the road network is maintained by the Department of Transport, a branch of the government. All tolls collected go directly to the road maintinence funds.
Rail
Rail transportation is gaining popularity in the Republic of Myon as more rail lines are built in the country and surrounding areas, and currently there are main commuter and freight lines connecting all major cities east of the Amiton Mountains. Myon-Transport is the main freight service in the country, and Myon Commuter Rail is the main national commuter service. There is also Myon City Transport, Meruton Transport, and Amiton Transport which run the light rail lines in their respective cities.

There are 4 political parties of considerable support, and overall there is a small lean to the left in most governmental policies.

Territories and Provinces
The Republic of Myon is broken up into 13 provinces, 2 territories, and 2 special administrative regions. Only the provinces and the special administrative regions are considered to be a part of the main country, while the territories consist of the rest of the land controlled by the government. All three have a say in the government, and territories and provinces have their own government under the main government. The SARs have their own government independent of the national government, but are not capable of international diplomacy and defence without going through the national government, and their government must follow Myon's constitution. All three can split whenever necessary and when there is a 2/3 majority vote in the Senate. Territories, or a section of a territory, can also choose to become a province, and this also needs a 2/3 majority vote in Senate. A province, territory, or sections of provinces and territories can become a SAR following a 2/3 majority vote in Senate as well. Citizens of provinces, SARs, and territories have equal rights.

Department of Intelligence and Investigation (DII)
AKA: Department of Investigation and Intelligence
The DII was founded on May 17th of 0013AL by chancellor Dan Mesher as a means of allowing the government to keep track of all the events that happen in the country and to figure out how to deal with the events. The DII's duties include recording every major event that happens in the country and searching for any suspicious activity.

Much of the business in the Republic of Myon is centered in the old region around Amiton and Myon City, but more companies are beginning to open up in other parts of the country as well. Many of the companies that deal with transportation and supplies the government needs are beginning to become owned by the government, but the majority of the companies will remain under private control or non-governmental public control.

The industial center of the country is currently located in the old region as well, with major production centers in Amiton (Antimatter-Related, Advanced Research and Prototypes, Major Ship Building (Space)), Myon City (Mining, Electronics, Rail Transport), and Three Rivers City (Ship Building, Armerment, Autos, Aerospace).
History
Pre-Colonization, 0001BD to 0002AL
Myon was discovered on November 7th, 0001BD by astronomer Lyle Richard while using the Riverton Telescope. 2 years later on May 5th, 0002AD (after discovery) the spacecraft Myon 1 was launched to Myon. It took 2 years to traverse the distance between the 2 planets. Myon 1 went into orbit around Myon on January 30th, 0001AL, and on February 4th, a small probe was released to the planet's surface. It landed one hour later on Myon Island, taking several pictures and scanning the atmosphere of the planet, deeming it suitable for life. MR-1 and MR-2 went into construction on February 18th, and they were completed and launched to Myon on July 29th on the same year. MR-1 and MR-2 were large cargo spaceships bringing in groups of construction robots that would later play a major role in the early development of the country. Myon 2, carrying 10 people, was launched on February 24th, 0002AL, making it the first manned spacecraft built by the Terrans to venture outside of Terra's gravity well.
Early Colonization, 0002AL to 0007AL
MR-1 and MR-2 landed at the present day site of Myon City on September 28th, 0002AL, MR-2 on the west side of Myon River, and MR-1 on the east side of Myon River. Soon after landing the robots were released from the ship, and they began to explore the surrounding area. During this exploration they found the first recorded evidence of possible intelligent life in the form of a green circle that seemed to be floating several feet under the waters of the Myon River.
On May 23rd, 0003AL, some of the robots were sent out on an exploration mission around Myon Lake, a large lake located just to the east of Myon City. They found wild horses very similar to the ones on Terra, as well as Earth. They took pictures, then continued to the north around the lake. By the time they reached the northern edge, however, no more large animals were found. Water samples taken showed some algae and moss, as well as several unidentified shrimplike creatures about a millimeter long hiding within the plant material. The robots soon found an abandoned trail, the first evidence of intelligent life on Myon, alive, or that had recently gone extinct. The robots continued on the trail, heading south deeper into the forest, then headed up into the Tramyo Mountains. At the top of the mountains they got their first glimpse of the Tramyo Volcano, a small but active vent that would later cause all sorts of trouble in the future. They returned to Myon City to report what they had found and to recharge. While those robots were exploring, the rest of the robots had been building an embankment to protect the settlement of Myon City from any floods that might occur in the area.
On July 7th, 0004AL, Myon-3 and Myon-4, spaceships carrying 30 people each, were launched to Myon City to further increase the population. While waiting for the new people to arrive, the robots were sent out on another exploration mission, this time into what would become known as the Amiton Desert. A road that was the predecessor of M1 was built up the side of the cliff wall, and the Greg Canyon Bridge was built during this exploration. During the exploration of Myon Canyon the future site of Myon Dam was decided, and the robots returned to Myon City. Myon-4 landed in Myon City on April 15th, 0005AL as planned, but Myon-3 landed in the Amiton Desert next to Myon Canyon. While all 30 crew members survived, they were now stranded there until help could arrive from Myon City some 250 miles away. The small town was named West Myon Canyon, and it was built partially in the canyon. By June 19th, the town was connected to Myon City, and it was soon moved out of the canyon. It was renamed Amiton on July 18th, 0005AL. Construction on Myon Dam began in September, and Myon 5 was launched with a crew of 50 to Myon on November 18th of the same year.
The greatest breakthrough in Terran science was the first successful teleportation on January 27th, 0006AL, in the Terran country of New Chicago, which controlled Myon City and the surrounding area as a colony. Myon Spaceport was also begun during this time in the Amiton Desert, serving as the future site of all space travel to the colony. Myon-5 landed on September 12th, 0006AL, and while the people and supplies had been brought down to Myon Spaceport, the main part of the spaceship stayed in orbit, docked with Myon-1 to correct Myon-1's unstable orbit. Myon-1's orbital instability was first discovered on March 18th, 0005AL, and it was declared that Myon-1 only had about 5 more years left in orbit before it would burn up in Myon's atmosphere if it's orbit wasn't corrected. On April 1st, 0007AL, the first stage of Myon Spaceport was finished (no, this isn't an April Fool's joke), and on May 18th Myon Dam was fully completed. However, it would be a while before Amiton Lake would fill up to its present day depth.
Note: Myon Dam was actually completed in the Middle Colonization period, but it is usually placed in the Early Colonization period because that is when construction started.
Middle Colonization, 0007AL to 0012AL
Myon-6 was launched on April 30th, 0007AL, carrying 100 people to the planet Myon. With the construction of this ship, which was the first 2 way transport, the Middle Colonization period was begun. On May 28th, the Tramyo Volcano Monitoring Station was completed, where it would keep track of the volcano's actions for the years to come. In July 8th, 0007AL, the robots were sent on another exploration, this time to the western side of the Amiton Mountains. During this exploration many new species of Myonian organisms were discovered, including 2 new types of palm trees: Spike Palms, and Hair Palms. The robots traveled along the Vacimin River. At the end of the exploration, they had reached the shores of the Melemon Ocean.
Major Bruce "Striker" Stanton and Jeff Anderson were 2 of the new arrivals on Myon 6, both moved in to Myon City. Many of the people on Myon 6 complained about spiders on the ship, saying that they seemed to be everywhere, but other than a few scares from spiders the size of tarantulas found in cabins, they didn't cause any major problems. Bruce Stanton soon went on his first exploration mission on July 17th, 0008AL to the Melime River on to Melime Swamp. Along the way he discovered an abandoned village, the predecessor to the town of Woden in South Meluma, one more piece of evidence supporting the belief that Myon was already inhabited. The village was in good shape, complete with furniture in the buildings, but no food. The rest of the exploration continued with the discovery of a native squirrel-like creature that jumped from tree to tree as though it could fly, a strange eel-like lungfish, and the skewer, a large jet-propelled avian that skewered small creatures that it found in the air.
On October 3rd, 0008AL, Myon 7 was completed and launched, carrying another 100 people, but it was the last of its kind ever built due to later technological advancements that would render this type of spacecraft obsolete. Myon 7 landed on Myon on August 18th 0009AL, and with the supplies that it brought, construction began on the teleportation station at Myon Spaceport, opening up the possibilities of quick colonization of the planet. The teleportation station was completed on March 29th, 0010AL, and it went into operation 12 days later. On May 3rd, 0010AL, the colony of Myon was granted limited self-governing ability, and the construction of the government center in Myon City began. On November 20th 0010AL, the government center was completed, and the Senate was opened. This came just in time, for soon, new events would bring the end of New Chicago.
On August 8th, 0011AL Bruce set out for his own exploration of the western side of the Amiton Mountains. He found that the terrain had changed since the robots have explored, and noticed a mysterious buzzing sound along with a strange sighting on the radar screens as they traveled along. The disturbance was detected by military radar as well. 5 AF-1s were launched after it, but it disappeared before they arrived.
Bruce and the rest of the explorers got back in time to hear about a small volcanic eruption out of a crack in Mountain-view Island in New Chicago, which had set fire to the surrounding areas and knocked out the steam collection system for the country's geothermal power plants. On January 18th, 0012AL, an earthquake caused a landslide/tsunami in the area surrounding New Chicago, the capital of the nation of New Chicago, killing several thousand people. A mass evacuation was started. Most left for other parts of Terra, but some went to Myon on the teleporters. However, immigration to Myon by teleportation was halted because the increasing volcanic activity knocked the teleporters offline. The remaining people boarded Myon-7, which was in the New Chicago spaceport at the time. It took off on January 23rd, 0012AL, and just as it began to climb, a massive eruption occurred in downtown New Chicago. It blasted a plume of ash and dust several miles high, forcing Myon-7 to bank hard to the right to avoid it.
The eruptions continued for the next few days, destroying all of the country of New Chicago and parts of nearby countries. Myon was now independent, and was cut off from the planet Terra for 5 months until June 7th, 0012AL when the teleportation network on Terra was fixed from the eruptions. The massive volcanic had also started a small ice age, which encouraged people to immigrate to Myon, as well as causing political instability in parts of Terra. Due to the new need to have a fully functioning government, the first Chancellor of Myon, Dan Mesher, was elected on December 2nd, 0012AL.
Late Colonization, 0012AL to 0016AL
Now that Myon was an independent country, much more attention was paid to the country than what had occurred under the management of New Chicago. Country roads were paved, and the land was broken up into 2 provinces, North Adesre (known then as Amiton), and Myona. On May 27th, 0013AL the first rail line was opened to the public, running from Ferneon in the Amiton Desert to Myon City. In Myon City, it was run over a shopping center along the south side of the city. A new leg of the Myon City rail line was opened in September 15th of the same year, connecting the downtown area with the rest of the city. This was the beginning of the lightrail network of Myon City. What was later known as the town of Kunal was discovered on September 18th, located on top of the Tramyo Mountains overlooking the volcano.
News about space travel began to appear at a fast rate after the first successful teleportation of a spaceship through space on May 17th, 0014AL, the first step towards FTL travel. This method of teleportation moves the ship in a molecular state at just under the speed of light. Control of DSS had been turned over to Myon after New Chicago's destruction. The ship was approaching the Stella Nueva system, a nearby solar system that orbits a large, unknown planet-like object named Gianto that the Anacata System also orbits. On August 3rd, 0014AL, the first pictures of habitable planets outside of the Anacata System were sent to Myon, showing a watery planet that could possibly have intelligent life on it due to the discovery of lights on the nighttime side, which was named HAB-1 by the Myon Space Foundation (MSF). By November 18th, 0014AL, close up pictures of all the planets in this solar system had been taken, and the launching of miniprobes was about to begin as DSS settled into orbit around the sun of the Stella Nueva system.
After DSS miniprobe 1 landed on the planet HAB-1 on January 7th, 0015AL, it discovered life and that the planet had a similar atmosphere to that of Myon. However, it was never confirmed if any of that life was intelligent or not. Miniprobes landing on the other planets helped the MSF learn more about each, but none of them were able to tell if there was any intelligent life in the system. DSS miniprobe 7, headed for HAB-3, another suspected habitable planet, mysteriously disappeared just before it was to enter the planet's atmosphere. While this may have been caused by a malfunction, it is widely believed that there is intelligent life on the planet and that they stopped the probe from coming, as miniprobe 10 also disappeared when it was sent to HAB-3 on September 8th, 0015AL.
On June 30th, 0015AL, the Uptasaunt War started when a group of Uptasauntian AF-1s attacked some CS-1s in Myon's orbit, causing light damage. 3 of the AF-1s were shot down, but the other 7 escaped. On July 1st, Myon and most of the countries of Terra declared war on Uptasaunt. On September 23rd, 0015AL a settlement was found in the Myon tropics, one that was unlike any other settlement ever seen before, as it was built out on a lake. On November 18th, 0015AL, the Myonian CS-1s battled the outdated Uptasauntian LSF-1s (an older capital ship design) over Uptasaunt's territory, and after a battle, Uptasaunt surrendered and took its ships back to base after Myon destroyed one of them.
First contact with one of the intelligent native Myonians, the zukes, occurred in October of 0015AL, where an odd inventor named Phil claimed that he had talked to one. He said that spoke of trouble near its capital and then flew off. No one believed him until March 18th, 0016AL, when a zuke named Marc from Halnuke visited senator Logan Sommer as he was getting ready to go to a Senate meeting about the war. Marc then drove Logan to the Senate, where both went in and devised a plan of attack against an Uptasaunt base located in the Myon Tropics. On March 25th, a group of zukes and humans flew to the Zukish capital of Dolinluke, the city that had been spotted several months earlier.
On March 27th, the attack on the base began with an air attack when grenades were dropped on the base and shots were fired from a CS-1. The CS-1 managed to destroy a LSF-1 with a well-fired missile, but the Uptasauntians fired a missile of their own, killing 392 people and injuring another 567. This caused the CS-1 to have to leave the battle. The next day a land attack began decimating the areas that were left with the zuke tanks. When they reached the HQ, they found that where were no people there, even though they had captured around 80 soldiers in other parts of the base. After finding some tire tracks leading out into the forest, the zukes managed to capture 8 of the Uptasauntians that had run off, but they knew that others had also escaped, so the search continued. 2 days after the attack, Uptasaunt surrendered to Myon and Terra, and the war was over.
Diplomatic Expansion, 0014AL to 0027AL
After the first successful teleportation of a spaceship on May 17th, 0014AL, the government began several top-secret tests with it, and soon found an area of naturally warped space near the planet Anacata. A small ship was sent into this warp during a teleportation. The warp allowed it to traverse the 15LY distance between the Anacata and the Sol systems in about an hour. The first contact Myon had with the Earth was on August 7th, 0014AL, when Myon joined the SCJU's Transportation Ministry. During the Uptasaunt War the nation of Giran de Cani sent supplies and troops to Myon to help in the war. It was the first nation to have close contact with the Republic of Myon from outside the Anacata System.
This was kept secret from the population until after the Uptasaunt War was over for fear of scaring the population with news of an alien race that existed on a nearby planet. However, with the discovery of the zukes on Myon, this didn't matter any more, so on June 12th, 0016AL, it was announced to the public that Myon was in the SCJU and had been in contact with the planet Earth for the past 2 years. Soon after that, on July 16th, 0016Al, Myon was granted its first major territory outside of its main borders, the Territory of Thulan, as a gift from the zukes for helping them destroy the Uptasaunt base.
On July 23rd, 0016AL, the first skyscraper in the Republic of Myon, the MCN Apartments, was completed. On November 19th, 0016AL, Myon gained control of a new province, Llahaña, located to the south of Myona. Its capital at the time was the small zukish town of Bulnaruke. On November 29th the Thulan Territory was granted independence, becoming the 4th nation in the Republic of Myon to be formed. Bruce soon went on another exploration mission in the Thulan Territory to find out what some of the land that they had been granted was like, which began on March 2nd, 0017AL. As they travel into the mountains they discover a small settlement, and on closer inspection, they find it to be the home of 5 of the escaped Uptasauntians. After a short fight they are captured, sent back to Thulan where they are held for 2 days, then sent back to Terra for questioning.
On June 1st, 0017AL, the North Myon League (NML) was formed between al'Sahra', the Republic of Myon, the Kingdom of Glump, and Zcheilau. Soon after, on March 30th, 0018AL the M.I.R.R. (Myon Inter-Regional Railroad) project was begun, starting with linking Ferneon and Amiton. The RSC Discovery came back with the first pictures of Tronta since DSS visited on April 7th, 0018AL, showing that there had been some changes to the planet since the last time, including a massive upwelling of magma out of the hole in its southern hemisphere.
Myon took a major blow on May 24th, 0018AL when Hurricane Alex made landfall in the Melemon Islands off the shore, then plowed through the jungle top the west of the Amiton Mountains before passing completely over the mountains and the terrorizing the city of Amiton. While it had lost most of its strength, it was still powerful enough to flood much of the Amiton Docks, rip holes in parts of buildings, kill 13 people and injure 136 more. After the hurricane there was much construction and rebuilding in Amiton, and in some places the entire area was totally rebuilt, even if it only had minor damage. The M.I.R.R project went on in full force after the hurricane with the construction of a freight terminal at Myon Spaceport which would be connected to the rail network, as well as construction on a Myon City bypass route around the downtown area. On January 19th, 0019AL, Three Rivers City became the new capital of Llahaña, where its location on the Wenten River, the Myon River, and the Melime River would mean that it would become a great seaport. On March 12th, 0019AL the cargo center at Myon Spaceport was complete, as was the Thulan-Amiton rail line. Myon's flag was chosen on March 21st, after a contest between 10 different flag candidates.
While the contact with Earth had increased Myon's economy and the number of new diplomacies, it also brought with it new problems, namely terrorism. On October 1st, 0019AL, the Combattenti Contro Unito attempted to bomb the Pioneer Park Building, then the tallest building in the Republic of Myon, but they got lost in the underground section of the city and instead detonated the truck bomb that they had under a smaller office building 1 block away from their target, killing 25 and injuring 73. 2 days later, 2 more suspected terrorists were arrested trying to enter the underground network, and on close inspection of their truck they found 600 pounds of high explosives in the back. On a lighter note, Myon purchased its first off-world territory on November 18th, 0019AL in the form of a small island in the South Pacific on Earth named Galaenther Island. This small island became the 5th section of Myon to have its own government shortly afterwards once it became sufficiently populated, on May 7th, 0020AL. On June 20th, 0020AL the final part of the first section of the M.I.R.R., the Myon City-Amiton rail line is finished, which was cause for celebration in the M.I.R.R.'s HQ in Myon City.
On July 6th, 0020AL, the downtown light rail loop was completed, and began to decrease the amount of traffic congestion in the city. The Amiton rail station and switchover area was completed on January 30th, 0021AL, followed shortly after by the completion of the M-1 business route into downtown Myon City, further reducing congestion. On March 7th, 0021AL a diplomatic meeting occurred at the town of Calunuke, during which The Republic of Myon took control of the area, and made a new province, Meluma. By October 3rd, 0022AL however, the province was broken up into 2 provinces, North Meluma and South Meluma. On May 5th, 0021AL the Galaenther Spaceport was complete, and new flights opened up between the planets of Myon and Earth.
On July 3rd, 0022AL the first section of the Galaenther Monitoring System (GMS) was completed, a small outpost of 4 radar dishes on top of a small mountain overlooking Galaenther City. Construction on the Grelen Canal began on August 2nd, 0022AL, the canal that would connect the 2 sides of the Amiton Mountains with a water route so that there would be a quicker route between Zcheilau and Glump The province of South Adesre was formed on September 7th, 0022AL, and on the same day, the province of Amiton was renamed to North Adesre. On November 16th, 0022AL, 2 zukes, members of the terrorist group Ebba Jålëõlên Güga (The big tank) stole 2 AF-1s from Galaenther Air Force Base. The first was a distraction, he went in knocking a guard to the ground before getting in one of the parked AF-1s. The other guards opened fire on the zuke, but it seemed to have no effect, as he soon had the AF-1 started, and after which he shot one of the guards with the AF-1s plasma gun, killing him instantly. He soon took off, and a group of 12 other AF-1s were sent after him. Unknown to the other crew members one of the AF-1s in the group was piloted by the other zuke, a female this time, and while the others searched for the first AF-1, she flew out over the Pacific. The Vulcans captured the first zuke somewhere in the central Pacific, but the 2nd zuke made it all the was to Pakkusena before being surrounded by Pakkusena's military forces and surrendering. It is still unknown where this zuke is located at.
On April 22nd, 0023AL Myon had its first contact with a country on another planet, Aerth, the Viceroyalty of Dominea. The next leap in technology came with the successful testing of a wormhole-creating warp drive ship, Primero Warp on May 18th, 0023AL. It flew to the outer reaches of the solar system, where it discovered a new planet, Sepranto, as well as several unidentified objects, one of which went up close to the ship while the crew was sleeping before disappearing, but not after leaving behind evidence that it had been there on the ship's data logs. On January 5th, 0024AL, the planet's tallest building, the Emerald Park Tower, was completed in Myon City.
The 9th province to join the Republic was Nerone on May 7th, 0024AL, which is also the most remote of the provinces, with only M3 connecting it to the rest of the country. This will change, however, once Grelen Canal is finished. On September 30th, 0024AL a new exploration was begun to the north in the Gulf of Granur, and during this, they saw something very odd. A white light had appeared on the horizon and soon began to move across the sky before stopping, after which a swirling cloud appeared underneath it. After about 2 minutes of the cloud slowly growing, the light dropped down into the cloud and disappeared, and soon after the cloud disappeared as well. Several pictures were taken, but it was not known what this was.
Later on they found a strange inscription on the wall of an underground cave-like area, and it was later discovered that it was a older version of Granurian, and it translated as this: From the words of Pupalo Doranve: Granar will become a world power after its defeat to Myon. A new war will start soon after the first, and the empire will begin and it will quickly expand and it will control most of the northlands within a few years Of its start. These events will begin with the invasion of outsiders who add civilization to Granar, and 3 years later the death of a zuke by the hands of the Myonian explorers.
On August 1st, 0025AL the military begins to expand once again to deal with the new threat of a possible attack from Granar, which has recently began to increase its forces to the north of Myon. On November 20th, 0026AL, after several small earthquake and other warnings, the Tramyo Volcano erupted, destroying the town of Kunal and covering parts of Myon City and all of Brekel in several inches of ash. The eruption killed 63 and injured 845. The 3rd chancellor of Myon, Amiea Duvanre, was elected on May 18th, 0027AL, and she is the first zuke chancellor to be elected.
The Expansionist Period, 0027AL to 0060AL
The Expansionist Period began on October 2nd, 0027 when a Granaran ship fired the first shot of the Myon-Granar War at Meruton, blasting a hole in one of the EL rail lines. The robotic military forces stationed their after a previous warning that said that Granar was planning on attacking was received fought well, but were unable to hold off the invasion, and by morning Meruton was in Granar's control. 3 days later a counter-attack was launched, and Myon managed to retake Meruton, putting Granar on the run. In the battles that followed, neither side seemed to have an advantage, at least not until al'Sahra', Glump, and Zcheilau joined the war on Myon's side on January 7th, 0028AL.
By November of 0028AL the war had turned on the Granarans and the combined forces of the North Myon League began to pus the Granarans back through the northern Amiton Desert after finally breaking through their defences. On April 17th, 0029AL the NML took the city of Pantott, a coastal city on the Granur Inlet off of the Gulf of Granur. 2 weeks later, on May 7th, Granar surrendered to the NML, and the official treaty ending the war, the Treaty of Ghetet, was signed on May 15th, 0029AL.
Granar soon entered a period of instability, which in 0031AL, resulted in the overthrow of the military which had been ruling the country, and the creation of a semi-democratic government, where the leader of the revolution, Glevand Hekjid, as emperor. He soon renamed the country the Empire of Granar, and began a period of reconstruction, repairing the economy and the country from the aftermath of the Myon-Granar War, and entered into an alliance with Uptasaunt in 0032AL. This new government and country began to expand once again, but this time into the northlands, away from the North Myon League countries.
In January of 0032AL the RSC Discovery and the RSDs Amiea and Gretchen arrived at the solar system KLX-2, only to find 7 uninhabitable planets, or so they though. The outer 5 were all gas giants, each with only a few small moons, while the inner 2 were rocky and highly geologically active, but for 2 different reasons. The innermost planet was tidally locked to the sun, with one side permanently melted from the heat, the other side rocky and covered in volcanoes caused by the flow of the magma in the planet. However, on approaching the 2nd planet, they noticed and unusually high amount of low-end radiation (radio-microwaves) coming from it. They came in closer, and they were then spotted by an orbiting craft of unknown nationality.
They were surprised when the craft called out to them in the Muphridian Language (English), and they were even more shocked when the craft docked with the Discovery and they saw that the crew looked just like Zukes. They later Identified themselves as Muphridians, and that the system they were in is the Mufris System, and the planet Muphrid, the 2nd planet in the system, was their homeworld. It was the capital of the Muphridish Empire, a large nation spanning several solar systems and many planets, which at one point controlled parts of Myon and all of Terra.
Trade was opened up between Myon and the Muphridish Empire, as well as an exchange of knowledge. However, the peaceful beginnings of the relationship would throw this part of the universe into a great space battle, far greater than the Myon-Uptasaunt war. In 0044AL the Muphridish planet of Maspha, in the Muska System, declared independence from the Muphridish Empire. Fighting was at first contained on the planet. In 0045AL Uptasaunt and the Empire of Granar side with the rebel forces, and Granar began to expand rapidly on Myon, but didn't attack the North Myon League This resulted in the acquiring of a new stretch of land by Glump to their east, as well as a nearby piece of land on the south end of the peninsula by the Republic of Myon, named Territory of North Glejeq. This gave the first land link between the Kingdom of Glump and the Republic of Myon, as well as keeping Granar out of the area.
Uptasaunt begins attacking Muphridish ships in 0046AL, and soon after, in 0047AL the rebel forces take control of several spaceports on Maspha allowing Granar and Uptasaunt to land on the planet. In retaliation, the Muphridish Empire started its only successful offencive of the war, taking several islands and part of the mainland from Granar in the Melemon Ocean. Revolts began to pop up in other parts of the Muphridish Empire as well, but these are able to be stopped as the Muphridish Empire was now ready for it. In 0051AL, however, the rebels had taken control of the main government on Maspah, but war would continue until 0053AL, when the war officially ended with the Treaty of Maspha. Maspha became the independent Republic of Maspha, in 0053AL, and in 0059AL, it joined the Granar-Uptasaunt alliance. Granar stopped its expansion on Myon shortly afterwards, and when it did, so the Glump and Myon, bringing an end to the Expansionist Period.
The Colonization of Space, 0060AL to 0???AL
After World War 2 started in 0083AL with Hitler's invasion of Poland, the Republic of Myon decided to remain neutral.

Religions
The most common religion in the Republic of Myon is Zhüeka, the main religion of the native Zukes, of which around 58% of the population follows. Islam is the 2nd most common religion with around 18% of the population are followers. Roman Catholicism comes in 3rd with around 6% of the population, and the remaining 18 follow various other religions or none at all. Because the planet Terra previously had no contact with Earth, it has its own pope who is separate from the pope on Earth, and the Terran pope is the one in control of the church on Myon.
Languages
The main language spoken in the Republic of Myon is Muphridian (98%), which was spoken by the Terrans who first colonized the planet, as well as by some of the immigrants to the country. Soon after contact was formed with Earth, Spanish (84%) was added as a second language to many schools, with Zukish (95%) being added soon afterwards. Zukish was the 2nd language that was recognized by the government (0016AL), and 3 years later Spanish was recognized as an official language after many zukes found it easier to learn than English. Other common languages include Dutch (9%), Granurian (7%), Granaran (6%), Zevino'shoma (5%) and Arabic (3%).
Zukish is a language unlike any language on Earth, but it seems to most resemble Nordic Germanic languages like Swedish or Danish at first glance. It has developed from the majority of the original languages on Myon, and then they all came together once most of the zukes were united into the single "Zuke Country", with several smaller groups choosing to stay independent. Myonian Zukish has borrowed many words from English, as well as some from Spanish, to describe new things that were brought from other planets and during the switch to a Latin-based lettering system.

Spanish is an Iberian Romance Language, and is similar to several other Romance Languages, such as Portuguese, and to a lesser extent, Italian. Myonian Spanish has several small changes in words used, like similar differences between Earth-based Spanish-speaking countries.

Education
Myon's education system is broken up into 6 parts, preschools, escuelas, ivemeds, colegios, ivimans, and trade schools. A 14 year education is required by the government, and attendance is free in the government run public schools.
Preschools Preschools are an optional education for kids ages 2 to 3 years old, (6 to 7 for zuklets). In these schools basic things are taught such as learning to get along with others, names of various objects (in all 3 official languages), and drawing. Classes are made a interesting and as fun as possible, with several breaks for snacks, naps, or playtime.
Escuelas Escuelas are for kids ages 3 to 8 (7 to 12 for zuklets) and are broken up into 4 levels. Kids learn stuff like writing, reading, grammar, simple math, basic computer skills, social studies, and others depending upon the school. All classes are taught as much as possible in every official language.
Ivemeds (Ivemeden) Ivemeds are for kids ages 8 to 15 (12 to 19 for zuklets), and are broken up into 6 levels. At this school level the core subjects math, social studies, and science are taught in each official language, but kids have the option to choose a certain language that they are most comfortable with to write in. Zukish, Muphridian, and Spanish now have their own subjects instead of a single languages class, and stuff such as proper usage, formal writing, informal writing, and more advanced reading comprehension are learned. More advanced math concepts are taught, including early algebra and long division, in science medium level physical, geological, and biological sciences are taught, and history is taught in levels 8, 9, and 10.
Colegios Colegios are for kids ages 15 to 20 (19 to 24 for zuklets), and are broken up into 4 levels. Advanced subjects such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, early calculus, biology, chemistry, anatomy, world history (all inhabited planets), music, band, Zukish, Spanish, Muphridian, and other electives. Classes are taught in whatever language the teacher and the students are most comfortable in, except for Zukish, Spanish, and Muphridian, which are taught only in their language.
Ivimans (Ivimanen) An iviman education is optional, and is equivalent to a college education. Subjects taught vary between what degrees are being studied, but there is always some form of upper level math, science, and language in them. Classes are taught in whatever language the teachers and students are most comfortable in.
Universities These are the same as universities elsewhere, and teach basically the same things as ivimanen do, only with more advanced classes available and other electives, and sports.
Trade Schools Trade schools are for those who don't want an iviman education, but do want to have more knowledge in a certain area. Classes deal mainly with the subject that the student is studying, such as electronics, electricity, auto mechanics, education, welding, and more. This serves as job training, and is required for employment in some specialty jobs.

- The 3rd Chancellor, Amiea Duvanre, did not speak fluent Muphridian during her 2 terms.
- It is illegal to fly a plane that has a top speed of under 450MPH/724kph in Myon except for North and South Adesre, and on Galaenther Island. (This is for people's safety as a clubtail might attack anything going slower)
- Many TV channels have 2 or 3 (or more) audio settings, one for Muphridian, one for Zukish, and usually one for Spanish, and sometimes other lanuages.
- The Mayor of Galesfe City, Amiea Duvanre, currently holds the record for oldest mayor in the country at an age of 163. (She can speak fluent Muphridian now)
