The Government Of New Rhodesia

New Rhodesia is a constitutional monarchy, with a federal parliamentary government. New Rhodesia has some devolved powers through the Welsh Parliament, however it is usually the decisions of the entire Kingdom of Wales which is represented through New Rhodesia that is announced to international organisations such as the SCJU, European Union and the United Nations. Therefore the Kingdom of Wales, in regards to New Rhodesia is much more likened to an inner commonwealth, ruled by New Rhodesia.

The Houses

The New Rhodesian Parliament is composed of two "houses", these are the House of Commons (which are elected representatives from constituencies of Wales) and the House of Academics, which is composed of the most intellectual members of society, appointed by leading universities from across the nation.

Political Parties

The current primary political parties of the entire nation, are as follows:

  • Liberal Democrats | Seats: 25
  • Labour | Seats: 7
  • Direct Democracy Party | Seats: 5
  • Conservatives | Seats: 3

The Next General Election will occur on the 15th January 2009
