New Haven is the capital city of Calderwood

Location

The capital of Calderwood can be found on the junction of the River Eva and the Goldspan River.

City of the Green Dales

The area sorrounding New Haven is reffered to as the Green Dales. A light, hilly area punctuated by meandering rivers. The Green Dales seperates the West Trossichs from the Atlantic Ocean. New Haven sits in a large dip in the hills, on the flood plains of the River Eva and the Goldspan River, and sees the Firth of Forth out to sea. Guarding over the city is the ancient volcanic rock of Castle Rock, topped with the stunning medieval structure of New Haven Castle.

Mayors

The city has had a large amount of Mayors since they were introduced to the country in 1745. Currently, Jessica Leros is the Mayoress of New Haven. She was elected in to office in 2002 by the citizens of the city.

National Parliament Congress

The new parliament was constructed in 2001 after the old parliament was declared too small for the growing number of ERs (Elected Representatives)attending deabtes and meetings. This new design is intended to create a feeling of ease, more so than the previous parliament. The original parliament building's seating arrangement was that of one facing the other. ERs complained that it was too "threatening" and could "stop women aspiring to be ERs" and therefore making it "disproportionate in terms of gender".

Transit (NHT)

The New Haven Transit (NHT) system consists of many different methods of transport. There is the bus of which passengers can travel on an open top deck, closed top deck or lower/single deck. NHT also operates the New Haven Sightseeing buses, which take tourists on a trip around the city. The sum of the distances of all four of the routes that New Haven Sightseeing operates (Blue, Red, Green and Yellow) totals to more than 100 miles. There is also the trains/trams. These visit more than 75 different stations on 5 different lines (Central, Airport, Suburban, North and West) on elevated, sunken and on ground tracks.
