History
After Kinata's successful creation in 2005, the Australian Government formed the AET to run its external terrotories and special administrative regions. In doing this, they also declared a small portion of the Northern Territory to be part of a new Special Administrative Region, in a previous uninhabitable land.
Once the initial government was set up with Chief Executive Chris Davies put in charge, the terraforming process was kicked off, which was in July 2006. Terraforming was necessary in order to provide a proper climate for the new SAR, a change from the area's previous grassland climate on the Barkly Tablelands. Once the terraforming was completed in late August, the first city's construction was started, the capital Aduara.
Geography and Climate
Carpentaria SAR is located on the Gulf of Carpentaria, between Northern Territory, to the south and west, and Queensland to the east.
